What is
your most important achievement till date? These child prodigies have a set of
patents to their names before they got past high school, meet the real future
of India.
1. Oxygen,
carbon dioxide level indicator in the car.

The idea
struck him after reading and hearing the news about accidental deaths in cars due
to suffocation. This brilliant student developed a system to detect the level
of Oxygen/Carbon Dioxide inside the car and automatically open the window when
carbon dioxide’s level go beyond safe.
2.
Automatic blade swinging ceiling fan for easy cleaning.

It’s quite
difficult to clean a ceiling fan properly but this student came up with a
genius idea. Atheerth developed a new kind of ceiling fan. When you switch off
the fan, the blades loop downwards so they could be cleaned easily and go back
to normal when switched back on.

Step-lock system in bus.

Santhosh
and his friends observed this problem every day that people travel standing on
door’s stairs which leads to accidents so they developed a mechanism which
would not allow the bus to move if people are standing on its stairs.
4. Pen to
check concentration.

Think
about a pen which can indicate that you are unable to concentrate on a
particular topic. Rudra Prasad developed a pen with pressure sensors on the
grip to indicate loss of concentration when the grip loosen. Your pen will tell
everyone if you are attentive or not.
5. A torch
with an additional bulb.

Once
Alisher was returning home with his grandmother at night and suddenly hurt
himself by falling into a pit. Although he had a torch but he had to use it to
show way to his grandmother who was trailing behind him. After thinking about
this over night he came up with an idea so that a single torch can throw light
in different directions. Alisher invent a torch having another bulb below the
main bulb so that light is available near the feet.
6. Low
cost Braille printer

Once, both
friends visited the school for the visually impaired for a school project where
they saw all the printing work done manually which was very time consuming. To
overcome this problem both friends modified a dot matrix printer to work at a
low cost to work as a Braille
Printer.
7.
Automatic spike system near traffic signal.

Shameet
lost his friend in an accident caused due to signal jumping. This accident made
Shameet think about this seriously and come up with a solution. Shameet came up
with the idea of retractable spikes before zebra crossing that come out when
traffic signal is red, people will have to wait till the traffic signal gets
green.
8.
Reminding the owner if keys are forgotten in the vehicle.

Chandramouly
read about various incidents when owner by mistake leaves the keys in car,which
subsequently gets stolen. To overcome this problem, Chandramouly invented a
system in vehicle which would inform the driver through a phone call if the key
has been forgotten in
the vehicle.
9.
Electronic purse with paired watch.
Phamnya
Konyak, Nagaland, Patent:- 1304/KOL/2013
Phamnya
belongs from a rural area and she is the first student winner from Nagaland.
She invented a password protected purse and an electronically paired watch
which alerts you if someone steals your purse.
10.
Puncturing mechanism for water bottles.
Shibajyoti
Choudhury, Rajashree Choudhary, Madhya Pradesh, Patent:- 3411/MUM/2013
Once while
travelling in a train, they saw some children picking up used littered water
bottles, refilling and reselling them. This can be very dangerous for someone
health. These children invented a stay-tab like mechanism, like the one in cold
drink cans, at the bottom of water bottles to puncture it once opened. This
will stop reusability or misuse of the bottles.
11. New
design of serving tray.

Once while
serving tea to a guest, Alok spilled hot tea over him, resulting some burns to
his hands and stains on his cloths and sofa. After this
incident he started thinking on how this kind of problem could be avoided and
after some time came up with this new stylish method which makes serving easy.
