1 APPLE MACBOOK AIR Rs 73,900 ONWARDS
Available in 11.6 and 13.3-inch display size, the Macbook
Air is amongst the first notebooks that proved slim and

processor, 4GB RAM and option of 128 or 256GB SSD
storage. Due to its slim profile you get only two USB
3.0 ports along with a Thunderbolt port. The good thing
is that it manages to deliver up to nine hours of
battery life on a single charge.

Weighing just 1.2 kg, this is one of the cheapest notebooks
with SSD storage. You get 13.3-inch full HD display along
with 3 USB 3.0 ports, HDMI port and full size keyboard.
Inside is a Intel Core M processor with 4GB RAM, 256GB
SSD and a 6cell battery with a backup of 8 hours.
If battery falls below 5%, the notebook takes a backup
of your work.

3 HP ENVY 13 Rs 77,490 ONWARDS
With a sleek all metal body, the HP Envy 13 weighs just
1.36 kg and that is with a 13.3inch full HD display. You
get three USB 3.0 ports and HDMI port. Hardware includes
choice of Intel core i5 or i7 processor, 48GB RAM and
256GB SSD. HP claims that the 3-cell battery offers up
to 10 hours of backup. There is also an integrated
fingerprint scanner for added security.

4 LENOVO THINKPAD X250 Rs 82,620
The X series of devices in the Thinkpad range have always
been ultraportable business machines and the X250 is one
of the most powerful options in the range. Weighing 1.6kg,
the notebook has a 12.5-inch display (1366 x 768 pixels)
and is powered by an Intel Core i5 processor, 4GB RAM
with 1TB hard drive. You get a USB 3.0, USB 2.0,
Ethernet and mini display port.
Battery life is claimed at over nine hours.

5 DELL XPS 13 Rs 76,990 ONWARDS
Boasting a 13.3-inch full HD display with super slim bezels,
the new XPS 13 from Dell is one gorgeous notebook.
It weighs just 1.3kg and Dell claims it to be the smallest
13.3 inch laptop. Hardware includes 6th generation
Intel Core i3i5i7 processor, 48GB RAM and 128256GB
SSD storage. There are two USB 3.0 ports,
Thunderbolt and SD card slot.
The top-of the line model has touchscreen display.

6 LENOVO IDEAPAD U41-70 Rs 41,590 ONWARDS
This is one of the few notebooks weighing under 1.7kg with
a 14-inch full HD display. You can get it in options of Core
i3i5i7 processor but all variants come with 4GB of RAM,
1TB of storage and 8GB SSD storage for the operating
system. Battery life is up to six hours and ports include
2 x USB 3.0, HDMI and a hybrid powerUSB 2.0 port.
The base level model has Intel graphics while the
higher models come with dedicated Nvidia card.

7 HP PROBOOK 440 G3 Rs 50,000 ONWARDS
Available in options of Intel Core i3i5 i7 processor,
this is another lightweight notebook with a 14-inch
display which is just under 1.7kg in weight. The entry
level model comes with 4GB RAM and 500GB hard drive
whereas the more expensive variants can go up to 16GB
RAM and 256GB SSD storage.You get dual USB 3.0 ports,
one USB 2.0 port, HDMI, VGA and Ethernet port along
with a SD card reader.

Microsoft Surface Pro 4 Rs 89,990 ONWARDS
While this hybrid device does not fall into the typical
notebook segment, we still think it deserves a mention
due to its fantastic design and performance. It features
a 12.3-inch touchscreen with a resolution of 2736 x 1824
pixels and runs Windows 10. Inside the slim chassis is a
Intel Core i5 processor, 4GB RAM and 128GB SSD along
with battery life of close to seven hours. All of this is in
a package that weighs less than 800 grams. Keep in mind
that you should get the Type Cover for `12,490.
