The benefits of eating whole wheat. It is filled with goodness, and luckily, it is also mouth-watering, provided it is cooked well. You have to follow a certain method when cooking it. Whole wheat has its outer cover intact and it needs to be soaked before cooking. This gives it time to absorb water and therefore it becomes easy to cook. Try adding whole wheat to your diet in some of these ways:

1. VEGETABLE PULAV
Cook whole wheat grain with chopped vegetables like carrots, peas, mushrooms and tomatoes. This pulav is low in glycemic index and therefore, it is healthy for diabetics. And, a great meal option for those looking to lose weight.

2. SALAD
Steam whole wheat grains and add them to a salad made of vegetables like zucchini and fresh cherry tomatoes along with diced paneer, roasted peanuts, chopped cucumber and red bell pepper. This salad can serve as a full lunch meal for people on the go or for a weight-loss meal plan. Whole wheat salad can also serve as an accompaniment to dinner soup.
