GADGET GIZMO REVIEW........................ Samsung Galaxy Note 3

GADGET GIZMO REVIEW Samsung Galaxy

 Note 3

The Samsung Galaxy Note could lay claim to starting the ‘phablet’ craze and the Note 3 is the most refined one till date. The faux-leathback makes it feel premium and not plastic-y – a problem that has historically plagued Samsung. And despite the large screen, the phone never feels too big. Indeed, it’s roughly the same size as the original Note and the Note 2 – in fact, it’s the shortest of all these phones. The screen is as good, the Exynos 5 processor never stutters, and the battery life takes you through a full day, lasting about 18 hours on average. The 13-megapixel camera on the back is a worthy point-and-shoot replacement. Sound quality, call quality and network are all as good as can be expected. Of all the phones out there, this is the only one to come with a stylus that docks into the phone, which is how it should be. The S-Pen is also not just a gimmick as it offers actual functionality, especially coupled with Samsung’s built in Air Commands for quick actions like scrapbooking or note-taking.
Specifications:
The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 features a Exynos 5 1.9GHz quad + 1.3GHz quad octa-core processor, FullHD 5.7-inch screen, 13MP rear camera, 2MP front camera, 16GB internal memory, 3GB RAM, upto 64GB via MicroSD, GPS with A-GPS, WiFi-ac, Bluetooth 4.0, Accelerometer, Gyroscope, Proximity sensor, Barometer and Compass.
In our books, this is the best Android smartphone you can buy at the moment. But at Rs 49,990, the Note 3 is an extremely expensive proposition
RATING 8/10
