Huawei P20 Pro
The world’s first smartphone to come with a triple
rear camera setup, Huawei P20 Pro comes with an IP67 rating. It is completely
dustproof and water-resistant up to one metre. The unique three camera module
setup on the rear side — comprises of a 20MP monochrome sensor with f/1.6 aperture,
40MP RGB camera with f/1.8 aperture and an 8MP telephoto camera with f/2.4
aperture.
Nokia 8 Sirocco
The 2018 flagship from Nokia is both dust and water
resistant and comes with IP67 rating. The Nokia 8 Sirocco is one of the
powerful devices in the Android One lineup. It boasts of a 5.5-inch QHD pOLED
screen, octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor, and dual rear camera
setup.
Apple iPhone X
The iPhone X, which was launched as the special
tenth-anniversary edition iPhone, is splash, water and dust resistant. It has
been rated IP67 under IEC standard 60529. In terms of specifications, the
iPhone X has is powered by A11 Bionic chip with 64-bit architecture chipset and
comes with a 5.8-inch Super Retina OLED display.
Samsung Galaxy S9
The latest flagship smartphone from Samsung, the
Galaxy S9, is rated IP68. The tech giant says it can last submersion in upto
1.5 metres of freshwater for up to 30 minutes. The highlight of the S9 is the
dual aperture lens that automatically switches depending on multiple lighting
conditions.
Google Pixel 2
Google’s second generation of Pixel series
smartphones comes with an IP67 rating under IEC standard 60529. This means that
it is both water and dust resistant. The Google Pixel 2 runs octa-core Qualcomm
Snapdragon 835 processor with 4GB LPDDR4X RAM.
HTC U11
The HTC U11 is dust, splash and water resistant up to
one metre of water for up to 30 minutes and comes with an IP67 rating. The
smartphone comes with ‘squeezable’ side bezels and EdgeSense technology. When
long pressed, the sensors allow users to launch any app and come with
customisation options.
LG V30+
Claimed to be one of the sturdiest smartphones out
there, LG V30+ says it has passed 14 US military tests, making it US MIL-STD
810G compliant. The device has been rated IP68 and is therefore both water and
dust resistant. It has a 6-inch Full Vision QHD+ display with 18:9 aspect
ratio.
Sony Xperia XZ Premium
The Sony Xperia XZ Premium has been rated IP65/68 as
per the company website. The handset is said to be both dust resistant and
capable of withstanding low-pressure water jet spraying under one metre water
for at least three minutes.
