Switzerland may be relatively small in size but is big in the variety of things to see and do
From boutique cities to alpine villages, from glacial lakes to snowclad mountains, from historical vineyards to Michelinstarred restaurants, everything in Switzerland is within easy reach. And making it all super convenient and comfortable is the Swiss travel system – one of the world’s densest public transportation systems.

What’s also rather unique is that this system includes not just trains, but also buses, boats and city transport, all perfectly connected and synced to run like the proverbial Swiss watches. This allin-one ticket gives you unlimited access to all modes of public transport as well as lots of other benefits. Kids up to 16 travelling with a parent, travel free of charge.

Of course when you visit Interlaken you cannot miss a trip to Jungfraujoch. Known as the ‘Top of Europe’, this most iconic mountain excursion is one of the highlights of every trip to Europe. Once you arrive at Europe’s highest-altitude railway station you can enjoy unparalleled views on the Aletsch Glacier, walks in the ‘eternal’ snow, a visit to the Ice Palace and even some Indian food at Restaurant Bollywood.

Thanks to its central location Zurich is the perfect hub to explore all of Switzerland. It offers all the conveniences of a big city but only a few minutes train ride can get you to the mountains. If you are looking for Switzerland’s hip and urban side, trendy Zurich-West is the place to be. The district is full of contrasts and boasts an unpolished charm. Actor Ranveer Singh who visited the city loved the cool vibe of Zurich, it’s trendy restaurants and nightlife, it’s shopping possibilities and most of all, wakeboarding on Lake Zurich.
