Here it is served on a platter our edition today lists adventure sports that should be on your bucketlist. It is time to push your limits, here are some sports you should try:
Hiking:
It's nice to get off the
beaten path while at the same time experiencing elevation changes and different
sights.Head to Peru for the Inca Trail, Kilimanjaro from Tanzania and the
Everest Base Camp trek in Nepal.
Bungee Jumping:
This adventure sport is
certainly not for the fainthearted. If you're up for something that is truly
the epitome of an adventure sport, this might be right up your alley .Corinth
Canal in Greece, AltaVila Tower in Brazil and Pont de Ponsonnas in France offer
breathtaking views.
Paragliding:
Paragliders are free
flying, light weight glider aircraft, which is launched by foot. Some of the
best places to do Paragliding is Neuschwanstein Castle in Germany and Pedra
Bonita, a mountain located in the São Conrado area, Brazil.
SNORKELLING
Region: Mexico; French
Polynesia & Belize
The Chankanaab Park is
located on the south end of the island of Cozumel, Mexico. Located inside the Cozumel
National Marine Park, this is a great place for snorkelling, learning to scuba
dive or just relax on the beach under a palm tree with a cerveza. Tourists spot
Spanish Hogfish, Parrotfish to small lobsters and more. In the sandy shallows,
there are several underwater statues to explore. Chankanaab Park also offers
the opportunity to learn to scuba diva on the reef.
The Tuamotus are an island
group of ringshaped atolls in French Polynesia, where protected inner lagoons
offer clear waters and some of the most spectacular snorkelling and diving in
the world. Water flows through a narrow pass from the ocean to inner lagoons,
providing a current for snorkellers and divers to ride as the scenery unfolds
around them.
Head to Hol Chan Marine
Reserve in Belize due to the close proximity of San Pedro, snorkellers can see
lots of marine life.In waters as shallow as 5 feet, large schools of jacks,
groupers, snappers and barracuda abound. Along each side of the cut grow
healthy stands of corals and seagrass in shallow water, perfect for the
beginner snorkeller.
