The USA is a destination with an incredible variety of things to do and places to see. For many, however, there is one caveat that is absolutely necessary when planning a trip: the ability to party!

Fortunately, the USA has no shortage of destinations with vibrant cultural scenes and exciting nightlife, and while you certainly know of places like Los Angeles, New York City and Las Vegas to be typical party destinations, here are a few lesser known, but just as exciting, party destinations.

1.Nashville, Tennessee:

Globally, Nashville is known as a country music mecca, and for good reason! If your idea of a good time is enjoying a few brews while catching some live soulful country or southern rock, you'll certainly have a ball in Nashville. There's so much more to the city than that, however. You can find every manner of dance club and live music venue in Nashville as well as a ton of bars with fantastic beer and friendly locals. It is the South, after all!

2. Providence, Rhode Island:

Being a college town, you know there's no shortage of a good time in Providence. With plenty of bars and live music venues, even performance art shows can be found! The best part, due to city’s large college population, you can expect to find great prices all over.

3.San Juan, Puerto Rico:

For decades, Puerto Rico has been known as somewhat of a legendary party destination, particularly for those on a budget. Dance clubs can be found all over San Juan, and with the city’s Latin heritage, you won’t find any shortage of salsa dancing! On top of that, a multitude of fantastic clubs, casinos and restaurants make it impossible to have a boring night in San Juan.

4.Honolulu, Hawaii:

Hawaii earned its reputation as a relaxed beach getaway. If you’re feeling overly relaxed after spending the day on the beach, head to downtown Honolulu for an exciting night. The state capital is a bustling party hub, where the locals get just as crazy as the visitors! Whether you fancy dancing the night away in a beach club, catching a live music gig, or just enjoying a few cocktails in an elegant lounge or bar, Honolulu is the place to live it up.

5. Key West, Florida:

Key West has somewhat of a reputation for being raucous and rowdy. In fact, Duval Street has even been referred to as ‘The Bourbon Street of Florida’. While you’ll find plenty of places to have a drink and join a party, you have to check out the nightly Sunset Celebration at Mallory Square. This wild party can get absolutely unhinged; with crazy performances and even crazier costumes, the Sunset Celebration is an unforgettable experience.
