TRAVEL - SWITZERLAND
First
Ski Experience: Mt. Titlis
Ever
wondered how professional athletes seem to effortlessly glide down mountain
slopes with such finesse? You too can experience the same thrill of skiing in
winter at the ‘First Ski Experience’, tailored specifically for beginners.
Under guidance from an expert ski instructor, you will be carving your first
curves in the snow in no time. That’s not all. Ranveer Singh too received his
first ever ski lesson here.
Wakeboarding
and more: Zurich
With
its setting at the Lake Shore, leave it to Zurich to treat you with the best
water sporting activities. Be it swimming, stand-up paddling or kayaking – the
opportunities are endless. And if you are an adventure junkie like Ranveer, try
battling the waves in summer with wakeboarding, wakesurfing or waterskiing.
Snow
Tubing
Snow
tubing – a crazy, fun filled snow activity open to all ages. All you have to do
is sit in a rubber tube and glide down an icy slope. This activity is available
both at Titlis and Jungfraujoch.
Olympic Bob Run: St. Moritz
Ever
raced down a bobsleigh track at up to 130 kilometres per hour? Head to the St.
Moritz-Celerina Olympia Bob Run for your shot at it. Take an adrenalin-fuelled
ride this winter on the world’s only natural bobsleigh track. With only 75
seconds in hand, you are bound to experience a one-of-a-kind highspeed thrill
on this unique bob run. Ranveer too became a certified speedster on this track,
aided by expert bobsleigh drivers.
Toboggan Run: St. Moritz
Head
to Muottas Muragl, Switzerland’s most beautiful vantage point and feel the
adrenalin coursing through your veins as you race down this majestic mountain
on a toboggan. With a vertical drop of 718 metres and 20 testing curves that
stretch over 4.2 kilometres, this is the fastest toboggan run in Switzerland.
Don’t forget to soak in the beautiful sights while you try to navigate the cold
winter breeze.
Summer Toboggan: Mt. Pilatus
Love high speeds? Head to
Mt. Pilatus in Lucerne for yet another fun-filled toboggan race. Ranveer found
his adrenalin fix here as he navigated the crazy curves of Mt. Pilatus.
Boasting a 1,350-metre steel channel, this is Switzerland’s longest summer
toboggan run.
