Dell's expanded Latitude
series attempts to offer features that combine security, manageability and
reliability that can assist in the evolving workplace
In a bid to combine
industry-leading security, manageability and reliability features that business
customers demand, Dell has expanded the selection of its Latitude commercial
notebooks. With sturdy design, nfinityEdge display and premium materials, the new
additions to the Latitude range -Latitude 13 7000 Series Ultrabook, and
Latitude 12 7000 Series 2-in-1 -are a comprehensive redesign that takes
nspiration from its XPS series and attempts to deliver an unmatched experience
to the mobile business professional.
Identifying and keeping in
mind the five business user groups hat form he evolving workforce -the desk
centric worker, he corridor warrior, on he-go pro, he remote worker and he
specialised use worker -the Latitude 3000, 5000 and 7000 Series has been
overhauled with thin and ight designs, and efficient and powerful processing
options.
Notably, the Latitude
Ultrabook is he world's smallest 13-inch businessclass ultrabook built using
layers of unidirectional 40-tonne carbon fibre, with an extended battery life,
and advanced security features like smartcard, fingerprint and RFID readers
that helps the on-the-go professional. It also includes Thunderbolt 3 for 8x
faster data ransfer than USB 3.0 allowing end users to power two 4K displays
simultaneously. Meanwhile, the Latitude Series 2-in-1, for the mobile elite
professional, uses magnets to easily transition from various use modes for
maximum flexibility and productivity. With a slim 8mm screen, hardened Corning
Gorilla Glass NBT and magnesium unibody build, it provides the best of both
worlds for those who want the functionality of a aptop in performance and

ecosystem. From ProSupport Plus for PCs and tablets, with 24x7 priority access
to expert support, accidental damage repair, and proactive, predictive
monitoring for automatic issue prevention and resolution, to the Dell Dock and
the Dell Thunderbolt Dock.
Dell also has a new
collection of monitors, including the UltraSharp InfinityEdge monitors that
offer a virtually bezel-less display along with UltraSharp 24 Wireless monitor
and 23 Wireless monitor that allows mobile users to connect directly to the
display without cables.
