TRAVEL SPECIAL .................Take a domestic vacation this summer

Take a domestic vacation this summer

India’s amazing mountains, blue seas and lush jungles beckon .
A complete family fun package during summer breaks

Just the very thought of a vacation, which can help in rediscovering oneself can be so inviting. On the one hand, adventure sports can push you to the limit where you define your own milestones and yoga vacations on the other hand, kindle a desire to create a balance within. What’s interesting is that a combination of both are now offered at various getaways in India. Listen to the rare birds chirping, nature’s music of the gurgling River Ganga flowing down the valley and treat your eyes to the snowy peaks of the Himalayas. The time is just right to let go off your mundane worries and set foot on the path to discovery. A balanced mind and body brings along an amazing sense of overall wellness. When you return to your daily jobs, let your colleagues and friends feel the evident difference. You will be beaming, we promise!
PARAGLIDING & WILDLIFE FUN
REGION:
Manali, Himachal Pradesh NOTE: Carry binoculars to spot rare birds and animals during wildlife treks Beating the summer heat with a holiday on the climes of Manali can be truly relaxing. Now, add a dash of adventure in your vacay and experience the picturesque terrains of Manali from a bird’s eye view — try your hands at paragliding this season. The weather is pleasant and paragliding has become quite a rage with tourists here. Make sure, you go paragliding with a certified trainer only. Later on, take your kids for an excursion in the wild. Manali Wildlife Sanctuary is located at a walking distance from the main town and the city centre of Manali. It is an amazing place to explore rich flora and fauna, at your own pace. Spot the Himalayan Black Bear, Himalayan Palm Civet, Hmalayan Yellow throated Marten, Kashmir flying Squirrel, Flying Fox, Barking Deer and more. Interestingly, the sanctuary also has some fabulous trekking routes and camping facilities where the entire family can unwind. Enjoy a small picnic (the old-fashioned way) under the shade of Walnut, Deodar, Kail, Horse Chestnut or Maple trees. Don’t forget to capture these memories.

DID YOU KNOW
SPARROW LOVE IN MANALI Our urban lifestyle has led to the near-extinction of the common sparrow. Here’s your chance to spot them in Manali as they chirp sweetly on the tall tree branches in Manali Wildlife Sanctuary. An ideal sight for kids.
