CV RESUME SPECIAL
How do I write a CV with a cover letter? I'm a fresher in
English honours and have to prepare it for placement.
1.
CV to be made first with Personal
Data - Name ,Birth Date (excluded for USA , Gender (excluded for USA ), Address
for correspondence, Home Address if different, PhoneNumbers, E-mail Ids, then
Academic Qualfications chronologically reversibly, i.e. starting with latest
academic information down to 10th standard giving period ,institution and
class/grade,
2.
Experience, if any, again in reverse chronological order.
3.
Special academic and experience
achievements, if any.
4.
Hobbies, if any.
5.
Covering letter has to be specific
for each company/institution, emphasising how you are the best fit for the
company/institution. Skills you will emphasise in your covering letter has to
be different, attuned to that company/institution, which means that you have to
get as much information about that company/institution , so that you can answer
the question, if asked (which many HR guys do ask)
