Being flexible is the best way to learn and
grow
BALANCING
WORK-LIFE
Somebody once said, “Find something you love doing, make it your
career and you'll never work a day in your life.“ The question of how to create
a work-life balance becomes invalid when one loves their work. You end up
enjoying every moment of it and it can often be an escape from the stresses of
daily life. I'm fortunate to have been able to create this space for myself
where I don't need to ration work and life because work is what I enjoy doing
the most.
HAPPINESS
& AN ENERGY HIGH
Every day at work is an energy high because I know I'm inching
closer to my vision of building a self-sustaining organisation that can make an
impact on millions of businesses across the globe.
DARE QUOTIENT
I believe in taking calculated risks in life and at work.
Anything that your instinct tells you is not worth the risk, shouldn't be done.
Period.
WINNING
TRICK UP MY SLEEVE
I don't have a winning trick as such, but I do believe that
keeping an open mind and being flexible about one's own ideas is the best way
to learn and grow, personally and professionally. Often, along one's journey
one encounters situations, ideas or people that will require you to change the
blueprint you began with but it can also help you grow and open your mind to
new possibilities.
ONE
THING I ALWAYS SAY NO TO
Being unoriginal. Aping someone else or trying to copy someone
else's path to success is a sure-shot way to fail.
LIFE
LESSONS LEARNT
You are the only one responsible for your life. You are born
alone and die alone. What I have learnt so far is that whatever you do in the
middle should be based only on your opinion and preferences. Yes, one must
always take feedback from one's near and dear ones. But ultimately, all your
decisions should be driven by your own beliefs and goals.
SPIRITUAL
DIET
A balanced diet of reading and running keeps me grounded.
Reading is a great way to build perspective and running in the open outdoors is
truly a way to heal the soul.
SUCCESS
vs FAILURE
Success and failure are two sides of the same coin. Those who
never try, will never fail and therefore, never succeed either.
TACKLING
LIFE'S CHALLENGES
The only real challenge in life is to secure the basics. And the
basics aren't very hard to get. After that, whatever we do is in an attempt to
secure luxuries.
DE-STRESS
MANTRA
A warm shower. Not only does this de-stress the body, it's also
the quickest way to rejuvenate and unwind after a long day
