JUNGLE SAFARIS & NATURAL ATTRACTIONS
Region: Zambezi Valley, Victoria Falls, Hwangey National Park
Tourism is Zimbabwe's fastest-growing industry and the country offers African continent's finest concentrations of wildlife in combination with beautiful weather here.
Zimbabwe is distinctive in Africa for its large number of medieval era city ruins built in a unique dry stone style. It is said that the most famous of these are the Great Zimbabwe ruins in Masvingo, which survived from the Kingdom of Zimbabwe era. Other ruins include Khami Ruins, Zimbabwe, Dhlo-Dhlo and Naletale.

EXPLORING THE WILDLIFE
Jungle safaris are a major attraction with Indian travellers. And women groups have a great time exploring safari highlights. There are several safari areas in the Zambezi Valley below Kariba Dam, where elephant, buffalo, lion, leopard, and all species of antelope are to be found. Controlled game hunting is also offered at some places wherever the authorities allow such sport. These are open from the beginning of May to the end of September.

HIGHLIGHTS GALORE
Topping the list of other prime attraction that you shouldn't miss are Victoria Falls (one of the seven wonders of the world), Hwange National Park, Kariba, Gonarezhou National Park, Eastern Highlands, the Great Zimbabwe Monument, and Nyanga.Hwange National Park: Zimbabwe's largest game reserve, with over 100 animal species and 400 types of birds, is a vast game reserve. Many women travellers prefer to live close-by and enjoy guided tours early in the mornings. And that's possible with the number of hotels available in close proximity to the park. Most tourists vote unanimously for Hwange National Park and Mana Pools, a UNESCO World Heritage site as the best National Parks and safari destinations in this region.
