SPILL-PROOF SPOON... WELL, ALMOST
LIFTWARE
The flair with which Rajinikanth
makes impossible possible can only be challenged, in the real world, by Google,
which recently unveiled the concept of a spoon that reduces the shaking of the
spoon by 76 per cent without any human interference! The smartly-tweaked
utensil will `empower' people with essential tremors and Parkinson's disease to
eat on their own. We call it empower because the target customer, who usually
have to depend on someone else to feed them, will be able to eat on their own.
The spoon, which has been clinically tested, senses the pattern of hand
movement and adjusts accordingly to not spill food and beverage out of the
spoon bowl. The concept initially belonged to a small start-up called Life
Labs, founded by Anupam Pathak, which Google acquired in September.
What's more: Multiple attachments of
spoons and forks, rechargeable battery that lasts for several days, works on
hundreds of algorithm that have been tested for over two years.View users'

A SUITCASE THAT AUTO LOCKS, WEIGHS ITSELF AND
TRACKS ITS LOCATION
BLUESMART
It's this suitcase that fuelled the
idea of this story, so the makers of other products on this list can send a
thank you note to the thinkers of Bluesmart. It can be locked and unlocked
using its mobile phone and smart watch app, can weigh itself so that you don't
exceed the certified luggage limit at the check-in counter, can charge a phone
six times with a built-in battery, track its location and raise an alarm if you
leave it behind. If you are not in the proximity of this suitcase, it will also
lock on its own, thus making sure that no one walks away with your prized
possessions, while the luggage is left unattended. You can also pass on the
access to the people you trust and receive notifications on your phone,
whenever they open it. The app also reflects data like the airports you have
been to, how much time have you spent in a particular country and the airports
you have visited. What more do you want? A suitcase that doubles up as a
Boeing! Who knows though... one day even that might come true.
What's more: Ultra-light, highly
resistant, waterproof zippers, and four spinner wheels. Check out the 3D
interactive model and place the order at http:www.indiegogo.com
