Here are some of the
coolest tech innovations that you won't mind shelling out big bucks on
Here's the smallest, lightest camera
GoPro popularised the tiny action
camera. This time it has shrunk the camera to the size of an ice cube. Not
surprisingly, GoPro's new HERO4 Session promises to capture unusual
perspectives -just fix it on the spoke of a bicycle wheel, on a surfboard, your
pet's collar or anything moving.
For mounting flexibility, HERO4
Session comes with specially designed mounts and accessories that also work
seamlessly with other GoPro gears. Apart from 1080p (60 fps) video and 8MP
photos, it features a rugged and waterproof design with easy onebutton control.
The camera comes in two editions -Standard and
Surf.
And, the smartest suitcase around
Planet Traveler's Space Case 1
claims to be the world's most hightech suitcase that flaunts advanced features
comprising digital biometric lock, global tracker, high quality Bluetooth
speakerphone, anti-theft alerts and personal concierge -all of which can be
controlled through a dedicated smartphone app.
Space Case 1 is made of
polycarbonate that can withstand exposure to UV radiation and is resistant to
heat and cold. It supports self weighing with `digital self scale' without even
lifting the case. The anti-theft feature includes sound alarm on the suitcase
as well as an alert to your phone.
Sleep tight with EEG headphones
Having trouble sleeping? If
distracting noise is your reason, consider this new sleep sensing EEG
(electroencephalography) headphones. London-based startup Kokoon (in
partnership with Onkyo) has designed the headphones with EEG sensors to help
you snooze at any time of the day or night.
This ergonomic headset can monitor
the electronic impulses in the wearer's brain to determine the exact moment of
sleep and its different phases. The wearer can also listen to music and audio
books comfortably in bed without the fear of waking up to the same audio.
Shipping of the headset starts February next year.
