This new dual SIM smartphone from Idea features a 5-inch display with a resolution of 854 x 480 pixels and runs the older Android 4.2. Hardware includes a 1.3Ghz quad core processor, 1GB RAM, 4GB storage and a microSD slot (up to 32GB cards supported). The phone has dual cameras (8MP rear, VGA front), 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, accelerometer, proximity sensor, light sensor and radio. The supplied 2,000mAh battery is
capable of delivering up to 10 hours of talk time.

iBall Slide 3G 7345Q-800

This is one of the few Android 4.4 tablets with support for 3G data and voice calling. It has a 7-inch IPS display (1280 x 800 pixels), dual SIM slots and is powered by a 1.3Ghz quad core processor with 1GB RAM and 8GB storage. Other features include dual cameras (5MP rear, 2MP front), built-in earpiece for voice calls, USB host support, microSD slot for expansion (up to 32GB cards supported) and a 3,000mAh battery.

Karbonn Titanium S19 
Price @ Rs 8,999

Aimed at camera-phone enthusiasts, the new smartphone from Karbonn comes with a 13MP rear camera that uses a Sony sensor and a 5MP front camera. The phone runs Android 4.4 on a 1.3Ghz quad core processor, 1GB RAM, 8GB internal storage and a 2,000mAh battery.

Karbonn has tweaked the user interface to add gesture control, widgets for quick app access and a live photo mode for the camera. The dual sim smartphone has a 5-inch HD display along with USB Host, accelerometer, proximity sensor, light sensor and gyroscope. 


Global Spotlight: HTC One for Windows
HTC has launched a new flagship Windows Phone device called HTC One for Windows. The device is identical to the Android version in terms of looks, features and hardware. You get a 5-inch full HD display, stereo speakers with builtin amplifier and HTC's ultrapixel camera with the depth sensor. It runs the latest Windows Phone 8.1.1 on a quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor, 2GB RAM, 32GB storage and a 2,600mAh battery.


HTC also announced that they will be adding their Blinkfeed (news + social media stream feed) to the device. There is no official word on the price or availability of the device, but we expect it to be slightly cheaper than the Android version and it should be available sometime in October.
