GADGET GIZMO REVIEW..................... Lenovo Vibe Z K910

GADGET GIZMO REVIEW Lenovo Vibe Z K910

Since it’s a large phone, the Vibe Z is difficult to use with a single hand. But it’s still far better than any other oversized phone because of its rounded corners and textured back. With capacitive touch buttons, you get every bit of the 5.5-inch screen for yourself. Be warned though, the viewing angles aren’t the best.
The 13MP rear camera does a fantastic job in all settings, and is aided by Lenovo’s camera app which is the best around – easy for amateurs and plenty of customisable settings for advanced users. Lenovo has also thrown in a 5MP camera on the front with a wide lens, so you can take high-quality selfies with ease.
The performance is as good as any smartphone out there and will be fine for any task. But there’s no expandable microSD slot, so chances are, you will run out of space soon if you play high-def games and shoot a lot of videos and photos.
While it runs Android 4.3 Jelly Bean, the custom UI makes it feel like it’s not Android at all. It has weird inclusions like putting rounded corners at the top of all the apps. What you are left with is a theme that’s inconsistent and annoying.
Like the Z1 Compact, the Vibe Z suffers in battery life when used with high-end games, lasting only 2.5 hours. But with regular usage, you should be able to get 15 hours before needing to recharge.
The Lenovo Vibe Z gets most things right on the inside, but the outside is where it matters, so try it before you buy it – the size, the look, and that customised interface are what you need to like.
