GADGET GIZMO REVIEW ..................... Micromax Canvas Turbo A250

GADGET GIZMO REVIEW Micromax Canvas Turbo A250

The Aqua has the most offputting Android skin you will ever see. The homescreen is a futuristic interactive living room, where you can’t add widgets or shortcuts. The apps drawer switches the theme to Frank Miller’s 300, with a weird Roman icon pack that doesn’t match it.
The screen is bright and the hi-res display makes text crisp, but the colours are a bit washed out. Still, it has Gorilla Glass. The performance was the best of this lot, in regular usage and multi-tasking. That said, the Aqua i7 too can’t keep up with HD games. The camera shoots images that are saturated and washed out, with lots of blooming around light sources; and unsuable in low light. You’ll get 13-14 hours of battery on a single charge. The 32GB memory should take care of all your needs, despite lacking a microSD slot. The Aqua i7 has a weak antenna and often drops calls or won’t get a signal. It’s a big, plasticky, heavy handset when compared to its peers. It’s not something you want to see or be seen with, especially with that ugly UI. SPECS 1.5GHz quad-core processor, FullHD 5-inch screen, 13MP rear camera, 5MP front camera, 16GB memory, 2GB RAM, FM radio, GPS, WiFi and Bluetooth.
The Micromax Canvas Turbo A250 is all about the FullHD display, and unfortunately, that is its downfall in performance and battery life. Your money would be better spent on the Canvas 4, which gives you a better camera, longer battery life, microSD slot and a Gorilla Glass display.
